1. Applicability
These warranty terms apply to all open-fire barbecues and accessories supplied by VistaGrillz, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Warranty Period
VistaGrillz provides a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing and material defects under normal private use. The warranty applies exclusively to the first purchaser upon presentation of a valid proof of purchase.
3. Scope of Warranty
The warranty covers construction and welding defects, material defects, and defects that prevent normal and safe use. VistaGrillz determines at its own discretion whether a part is repaired or replaced.
4. Exclusions
The warranty excludes normal wear and tear, discoloration due to heat, surface rust, corrosion due to insufficient maintenance, slight deformation of the grill grate, baking plate, or fire bowl due to thermal stress, cosmetic damage, misuse, overloading, modifications, damage during transport, or improper maintenance.
5. Material Properties
Steel is a natural product. Discoloration, expansion, shrinkage, and slight deformation due to high temperatures are normal properties and do not constitute a manufacturing defect. For bare steel, surface rust is a normal occurrence; this can be prevented by regularly cleaning and oiling the barbecue and accessories.
6. Maintenance
Clean the barbecue after use, remove ash and grease residues from the bowl, lightly oil the used parts, and store the product dry if possible.
7. Warranty Claim
Report a warranty claim as soon as possible with proof of purchase, order number, clear photos, and a description of the defect. VistaGrillz may request that the product or part be provided for inspection.
8. Liability
The liability of VistaGrillz is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part or product. Any liability for indirect damage, consequential damage, loss of profit, or injury resulting from improper use is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
9. Safety
Use the barbecue exclusively outdoors on a stable surface, never leave a lit barbecue unattended, and use protective clothing suitable for this purpose.
